About
A marketing department for businesses that don’t have one
MRKT DEPT is an AI social media department for small businesses and app founders: it researches your niche, writes problem-first scripts, makes UGC-style short videos with an AI spokesperson, and posts them to TikTok and Instagram after you approve each one. Plans start at $79 a month, and the first video is free.
Who makes it
Samuel, founder of mrkt dept
Samuel founded MRKT DEPT to give small businesses a marketing department they can afford: research, scripts, videos and posting in one loop, with the owner approving every post. Every MRKT DEPT guide is reviewed and approved by Samuel before it is published, and draws on what the product learns making and publishing videos every week.
How the videos are made
Research: each business’s niche and competitors are studied before anything is planned.
Scripts: problem-first, 20–30 seconds, checked for repeats, a specific opening line and a clear call to action before rendering.
Video: an AI spokesperson presents the script; real product photos or app screenshots are used instead of AI-drawn screens; every render passes an automated quality check.
Approval: the business owner reviews every post and can approve, ask for changes or reject it. Nothing is posted without approval unless the owner turns on auto-approve.
We publish what we learn: see our production data and example videos.
How we write guides
Guides are drafted with AI from our own production data and public sources, then checked and approved by Samuel before publishing. Competitor prices are taken from each vendor’s own pricing page and dated; when we cannot verify a figure, we say so.
